EDIT: Also working on my own Genesis engine. Got myself a linked list object+sprite system working.

In case you have not seen it yet, here's my project: Flight of the Tornado.
It is a complete overhaul of the original Sonic the Hedgehog that turns it into a sidescrolling shootemup game!
While I'm not close to being even 20% done I have made substantial progress from it's platforming origins.
I've modified this game so much that only roughly 10% of it is Sonic 1, it's practically on the border of being homebrew!


When the project is done it will feature multiplayer (as you can see it is in the works), SRAM saved high score tables, 6 original levels, and original soundtrack and so many hardware tricks it'll boggle your mind! I hope you will look forward to Flight of the Tornado when it's ready.
